High Speed Connection and Map Testing
More on SvenCo-op is the Community Map Project. Over a year old and still running. We settled a few things and the project is running fine again. The Special section has been updated with a few changes and screenies about the project. Check them out while you can ;). Currently I`m working on some transitions between the maps and fixing up the maps together with a few of the more expierenced mappers from the SvenCo-op Forums.
I ran a few testruns on Last Stand with some Forum Regulars, most of it runs fine and I have some things to add/change. I`m betatesting SvenCo-op 3.5 and it will offer some new things that I would like to have within my map series. Details are ofcourse classified ;).
Because most of my effort is going into SvenCo-op now the CS map is on a hold now. Till now I`m quite pleased with the looks of it and I`ll continue with it as soon there is time.

Last Stand Progress
Futher more on SvenCo-op : The Community Map Project is up and running again. We are no longer recruting new mappers tho. We have decided to make sure it will get released at least in this year and there are still about 8 mappers who need to add their part. I've updated the Special section with a description about the Community Map Project. Check that one out if you are interrested.
The developement on the Counter-Strike map is going fast now, but It's still to early to show any of it because
it still needs a load of work.

New Host and SvenCo-op 3.1
SvenCo-op 3.1 seems to be close to release, and what most people do not know is that my new map series "Last Stand" (a former
"special" item on this site) will be in the official version. I hope it will become one of the favorites on the servers, but
I`ll have to wait to see how that comes along. Futher I released a small map named Aerial Contact as a tribute to the HeleBattle series back in
SC 1.x. You can find it on the SvenCo-op Forums in the Map Showcase (and later on, on this site too ofcourse ;))
Last Stand and Aerial Contact are my last projects for SvenCo-op for now. I`m now concentrating on the future HL2 and I`m
building a map for CounterStrike now. More information on that later on. Just browse around on the site for now, and I`ll hope
I`ll have this site back and updated soon.

New Project "Last Stand"
The Training Course has been put on idle for a while now. That gave me time to work on with my new map "Last Stand". I`ve
updated the Special Section allready with info about this new project. Check it out if you havn`t allready. The developement
is going a bit slow currently because I have to find ways to lower used engine resources on this map. I`ve found a way to
max out the patches but now I`m having clipnode problems. The map is just too big. I`ll see if I can split it into 2 parts,
but I`ll try to hang on this single map as long as possible.
The Community map project is running slowly atm too, but I`m glad the project is working. There are mappers busy with their
parts right now, and ofcourse that will take the neccesary time. Maybe a bit early to say this but I`m planning to put some
more time into a CounterStrike map when I finished my last SvenCo-op map. Altho SvenCoop 3.0 gives me many new features,
I really would like to change the subject for a while and get a bit of variety in my work. I`ll put up the CounterStrike
Section later on and I`ll add my TFC map(wideopen) to a seperate place. Gotta figure out how I`m going to plan my site,
but let`s not worry about that allready ;).
Futher more I have updated the "Mapping" Section. You can now look at more tutorials and download them if you want to
view them offline later on if you want.

As for SvenCoop. 3.0 Beta is still running and it`s fun to play. The new features open up some new mapping possibility`s wich
I`m surely going to use. Steam is still now working but I`ll get it fixed when I maybe have a new internet connection. Could
take a while tho.
I had my birthday last week and released (just like last year) a bday map. Reactions are good again. It`s a fun map with
puzzles. I`ll put it into the download section when I have time to work on that. Maybe you can find the thread on the SvenCoop
forums if you are dying to play it ;).

Many things happend lately so prepare for big new update. Let's get started with the great news that I now own a DSL connection ! After 5 years of 56K drama I now can upload and download whatever I want. I got my steam working and I`m currently running a Dedicated SvenCo-op server with my maps on it (more on that later on). Everything works out fine, all maps are uploaded to the site's host so you are able to get all my maps from here now. Check the Download section.

As you can see most of the website has been updated. About 50 % of my maps are already online (mostly the smaller ones), and
the Tutorials are accessible (Check the Mapping Section). I`ve allready mentioned that my new map series will be in SvenCo-op 3.1 in my last news update. Here are some shots of the maps.

As you can see the site is back again. After having loads of trouble with my old host I now have a new domain at Goanna's
SvenCo-op !. I hope I can keep the site updated regulary and get the maps and tutorials available for download again. A load
has happend that I havn't reported here so let's start what is new.

News Update ! Yes, I`m alive, and even kicking ! So, what happend lately ? Well.. SvenCoop 3.0 release is imminent. Currently
I`m betatesting the Release Candidates and I must say, 3.0 proves really worth been waiting for ! But let`s get back to
some news about my projects:

As you can see : I made a new site. I`m now hosted at the HLRSE community where I have space to upload my maps. Because my
old site didn`t work on the FTP I made a new one. I also updated the subsections on my site and added some new things. The
special section is empty new but I plan to put something about my new Space Horde map in there.

Hello ! It`s been a very interresting month. Last Sunday SvenCoop 2.0F has been released ! Tho, I`ve been a official Beta Tester for the Candidate versions. Now I tried to download SC 2.0F, but I got a FILE CORRUPT message :( Damn. I`m on 56 K so downloading 42megs took more then 3 hours. I really want to have 2.0F so I tried a second time. Again 3 hours downloading. Guess what ? 2nd time File Corrupt! AAARGH !! Because I`m a Beta tester I have the 2.0F Candidate2 version and I copied the client.dll from 2.0F and now I can still play. I still have some little bugs but whatever.
Well. What happened more ? Scientist Run got released. Get it : HERE ! Scientist Run is a very old map that got patched up. For more info look into the readme.txt or at the post. Scientist Run is on MrMagics server now.
More news : CreepsSvenCoop is down so I`m no longer needed for making reviews. Sadly. But it will be up later on because now everyone is too busy with school. I`m in my exam year too.
What am I working on currently ? I`m putting allot of time into Enclosures. Part1 is 100% done. Part2 needs a few fixes and Part3 is going to be expanded. Expect a release soon. I`m working on Estate too, my architecture map. It`s looking very nice now and is almost done.
What happend on Omega Psi ? Not much. I finished the first map and now I`m waiting on the coding work just like everyone else.

Welcome ppl to read this.. A big news update this time. Central Assault 1.0 is out now and running on the custom maps servers. I asked for a review of it on Creeps tho that takes a while. When we speak of Creeps SvenCoop.. I`ve been asked to be a map reviewer and I did my first review, take a look at it HERE !
And I`m working for the Omega Psi mod now as mapper. I`m busy working on a cavern styled map now. As for Svencoop maps : They are now placed in the waiting line because I want to add 2.0 final features in it.

On other news there are problems with compiling on Scientist Run and Enclosures, the HL engine can`t handle them, they are just too big. I`ll reduce them or cut `m into more pieces somehow.

I just finished my new map : Hezus` Tomb. Its a puzzlebased map, and that quite new for me. Normal I`m more action based, but well. I liked the map myself so ofcourse you ppl do to ! :P Well there is far more info in the attached txt file. So, you can find my map HERE {CLICK)

Been a while since a news update. No, there are no maps released yet. Reason for this update is that I want to give you ppl an idea what I`m working on now. My new map is called Enclosures. The mapidea is allready quite old and I allready deleted the first maps because I am not satisfied with the old things I did back then. It`s not just one map, no it`s an 3 map series. I didn`t post any of this on the SvenCoops forums yet. I give the ppl that check my site sometimes a little credit to know what the new map is. Ok, Enclosures are a missionbased mapseries. In Enclose1 there is a bit of hordebased in the map. I won`t give you any details on story yet.. cause it`s more fun to find out yourself while playing the maps. Of that I want to tell you is that the story is in Black Mesa (you won`t see familiar places because I thought of everything myself). I did a great deal on architecture and gameplay. I played it along with a few friends yet and it all runs nice. For those whole played my latests Bridge2k and Garghouse2k (that is in the mappack2), this map is different. I added more details and gameplay here. It will take a week or 2 before I`m done. I`m allready working on it for months, and I`m sure.. This is my best map I ever made !.. oh.. and ! There is me Voice-acting in this map :D
And I nearly finished the map Scientist Hunt that I allready beta tested with Freaking Neo. Tho.. I have some problems compiling but my little brother got himself a Duron 1200 Mhz. So maybe try to compile there. We`ll see !

My map GargHouse2k has been put into the new Map Pack on Svencoop.com. You can download the pack from there. Today I uploaded the site to 50megs, problem is there is this upload limit :(. Guess you need to download my maps from the SvenCoop Forum..
I joined the team that is mapping the Doom II series for SvenCoop. I started mapping on Map02, When it`s done I`ll post it here too.

Hello ! I`m back with the site. I`m not a good sitebuilder, ain`t got any program for it, so I`m just using Notepad to create my site. But well, the site loads fast this way, and really I`m a mapper so whatever :D. When I was building this up again I read all my old news about how great my crappy maps are :). Things are going to change a bit. I`ll keep every one up on my projects and many maps can be downloaded from here. I didn`t gathered an news archive, all old things are lost..But who gives a poop about that old crap ? Time for change and better maps and thats what we all want, don`t we? So I`ll try to keep up this site for the rest of my mapping career, or till my dumb server thinks it`s time to delete my whole site without a reason again..
As for news on my maps : Most old maps have been redone or I`m still working on them. I cleaned the Download session and put some new maps in that are done or just beta. You should check it out. I will post those maps on the Map Showcase in the Forum on www.SvenCoop.com so you can download maps from there if you like. (Guess that server is a bit faster).

Ok, now I got a new site. It isn’t ready yet, so I think you have to wait some days. Well I can tell you this, I am building some new
maps and re-doing old maps in a new way that I discovered. So all the maps you have downloaded are worthless now. Well worthless. I’ve
seen the stats of the site. No visitors lately. Because I had a very bad site I guess. Well I’ll go on and finish the maps and site !

There are some problems with my maps, Ike told me on the SC forum there where some problems with spawning. I fixed that, so now you
will spawn under the bridge (with enough cover ofcourse), and I added some more details. My map SaveSven had some problems too, if you
shot the grunt the level ended. (?) Don`t know how that could happen so I edited the BSP, fixing some leaks and made more room for
spawning. But still the problem remains. Then I discovered that the CFG file was crap. So that one is fixed too. So if you allready
did download those bugged versions please download these fixed ones.

Good News ! My project Save Sven Viking [DOWNLOAD] is done. This is my 2nd SC map, and the first one mission-based.
And I did some work on the site. New there its possible to send me a notice of any bugs you found in my levels. And there is
a Downloads site now. There are only 2 maps over there but that will expand. Ofcourse I built a SaveSven Walktrough.. Sven said
he will put my comic on the site too so here`s the link. SaveSven is a missionbased map so I wrote a little (funny) story with it.
You can d.l or read it directly from the site but it`s in the saveSven.zip too.

Now I`m going to work on a new project, called Saving (Private) Sven. This idea came from a SvenCoop comic i made.
Maybe Sven will put it on the Svencoopsite. If he doesn`t I`ll put it on this site.

The map Bridge is finished. I changed allota things.
CHANGES TO VERSION 1.0 :
-There`s only one apache at start, 2nd appears in 300 sec (so hurry!)
-Deleted all grunts and added monstermakers.
-Map is now in 2 parts, battle above and under the bridge. So there are 2 spawnpoints.
-The ceilingturrets are now perfectly in the ceiling.
-Added more details in my level so it looks more fancy :)
-Added a 2nd target range (WITH VERY STRICT RULES!) :P
-Built more cover for the players, sandbags and bunkers !
-Harder to reach exit now, gaurded by assassins.
-Added rope to get up the big box, at the above spawn point.
-Holowed that big box so players have cover for the rockets
-Put some more holes in the bridge
-I changed my video drivers.
-I got my self a new mouse

I`m playing allota SvenCoop now, and thats why I started to build maps for this nice HL MOD. My first project is BRIDGE. [DOWNLOAD],
a horde-based map with lotta grunts and 2 apaches and annoying sentry turrets. You can read a walktrough HERE. Today I did my fist
Beta test, together with another guy (who`s Dutch 2). We tested his and my map. After a while more guys appeared on our server,
d/l our Beta maps. First reactions on my map where : "AARGH ! DEAD AGAIN !" and "MAN, THIS IS THE MOST DIFFICULT MAP I EVER PLAYED !"
So many screaming an yelling :). And I really like that ! But still it is a beta, so tommorow I`ll finish my map.
